The following statement discloses the consumer privacy practices of Penquills ("PhatWare") for the Penquills Web Site ("Site") and Penquills/Phatware Software Applications ("Apps"). By using this Site and/or Penquills/PhatWare Apps, you are deemed to consent to our privacy practices. If you do not consent to these privacy practices, do not use this Site or download any materials from it.

We do revise and update our privacy practices from time to time and we reserve the right to do so without any notice to you so you should visit this page, at least once a month. Use of Personally Identifiable Information (Apps)

Penquill/PhatWare's software applications for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, such as Tempest, WritePad, Penquills, and others, do not collect any personal user information. Some applications, at user's discretion, may access such information as contacts and appointments databases stored on the user's device, for a purpose of adding new words to user-defined dictionaries, which are used to improve handwriting recognition and spell checking experience, however these dictionaries are stored locally on user's devices and are not transmitted to Penquill/PhatWare Corp. in any shape or form. Applications may collect generic usage and analytics data utilizing standard services such as Google Analytics. Such data is only related to application's performance and does not contain any user and device specific or personal information. Regardless of the device network connection status, no information whatsoever is being sent directly to Penquill/PhatWare or its affiliates.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information (Web)

In general, you can visit this Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, some areas of this Site require registration to access. We collect this information to better understand your needs and provide you with services that are valuable to you. If you choose not to provide the information we request, you can still visit much of this Site, but you may be unable to access certain options, offers and services such as downloading trial or evaluation software.
